Carolina town of Boone, home of Appalachian State University,
2006, 2007 & 2008 NCAA National Football Champions. Since
1989, our mission and our goal has been to provide our artist
clients with excellent fine art products that aren't available
in catalogs from the big mail houses and craft retailers. Being
fine artists ourselves, we know what you're going through, so
we keep your prices and costs as low as possible, charging only
for actual postage expenses and not adding on "handling"
fees like some art supply stores do. In an age where most art
materials manufacturers are subsidiaries of huge multi-national
corporations with little interest in anything other than the
"bottom line", we are proud to advocate those small
manufacturers who are still committed to producing the best products

Thinking of ordering from somebody
else? Can you be sure they will treat you as well as I do? I
received a call last week from an artist who ordered a defective
product from another company that starts with an "M"
and ends with an "ister". Apparently they were only
too happy to talk to her while they took her money, but she was
basically blown off when she notified them about a defective
Silver Brush she had received from them...needless to say, even
though she was NOT my customer (yet), I didn't want her to feel
jaded toward my favorite Silver Brush product line as a result
of the less than stellar treatment she received from the other
guys, so although I had no stake in the issue, and even though
I didn't make the sale in the first place, I took time out of
my busy schedule and corrected the other guys' mistake. The real
difference between me and the catalog warehouses is 1) I only
sell products I use myself and can personally vouch for and,
2) my customer is more than just a credit card number and a quick
sale to me...in short, I care! You might find a better price
on a paint brush or a pencil somewhere else (although I doubt
this happens very often) but you will NEVER find the personal
attention to detail you get from me versus these outfits who
I am certain would be just as happy selling toaster ovens and
used cars. I appreciate each and every order you give me, no
matter how small...and as a matter of fact, I do "get it"
when it comes to fine art and those creative folks who are out
there producing it. Don't just take my word on it...here's a
letter from this satisfied artist that called me after they got
ditched by the other guys:

them how stupid they really are.
I do appreciate the time it took for you to talk to me on the
telephone, call Dee, and write this letter. I know it was "just
a brush" to some people, but I can see that you get the
principal of the matter.
